Ferness pool located at 15255 Ferness Lane is a junior Olympic size pool. The pool is open June through August during pool season. Lifeguards are on duty. The current year’s pool pass ID is required for entry.
Pool may be closed due to impending or current weather; heat – triple digit heat index (100°f+); inclement weather in or in surrounding areas (thunder (heard), lightning, high heat, rain, etc.) Pool will stay closed after weather for cleaning & treatment. This is for the safety of our residents and lifeguards.
The 2024 pool registration is closed.
The clubhouse located at 1134 Willersley Lane is for residents to rent for their private events. You must complete the rental waiver agreement found Here and place a deposit to reserve. Reservations are processed on a first come first served basis. All pertinent information can be found on, The rental waiver agreement can be found Here. IMPORTANT UPDATE: Clubhouse is currently closed due to ongoing maintenance.
There is a tennis court located at the Ferness park available for our residents. A key is required to enter to ensure it is used for residents only. You must complete the tennis court key agreement form and pay a $5.00 non-refundable deposit. We ask that you limit your play time to one hour if others are waiting. Click Here.
This community boast three beautiful parks for resident use. Willersley and Ferness park and the newly renovated Trecastle park. Parks are equipped with pavilions that have tables and benches under coverings, swings, playground equipment, basketball court, tennis court, and soccer goals. The recently renovated Trecastle park has an extensive skate park and exercise equipment.
In accordance with the Bylaws and Covenants, all exterior alterations or improvements to your property must be reviewed and approved before the begin date by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). Residents must submit a home improvement request form describing the alteration or improvement. The ARC will review and render a decision within 30 days. The ARC may approve or deny the request, suggestions may be made for denials and the request can be resubmitted for possible approval.
To complete your application, download the home improvement form Here. Enter all of the information required and submit with samples. For example, paint color, roof sample, drawings with measurements, etc. Also include a plat map or survey of the property that indicates the project in conjunction to the property lines and easements when applicable.

Sterling Green South has four community garage sales each year. These are held on the third Saturday in February, May, August, and November from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (signs will be posted throughout the community). Any rained-out garage sales will be rescheduled. Call the office to find out rescheduled garage sale dates or check back on this website.
The community garage sales are the only approved times to conduct sales. No individual garage sales are allowed. Garage sales and garage sale signs placed out is subject to immediate removal and appropriate fines may be assessed.

FIREWORK TRASH IS A $500.00 FINE AND PUBLIC NUISANCE FROM THE LOUD NOISE IS A $500.00 FINE! THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED AND REPORTED TO THE HOA BY HARRIS COUNTY SHERIFF DEPUTIES.
